An investigation is underway after a juvenile was shot in Lawrence early Sunday morning. According to Lawrence Police Department Sgt. Mateo Agresta, officers responded to a person shot in the 5700 block of Chensford Drive, near Interstate 465 and East 56th Street, around 3:30 a.m. April 20. When police arrived on scene, they said they saw a juvenile male shot. He was taken to a local hospital with what police describe as "life threatening injuries."
