IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting on Indy's near southwest side Thursday afternoon. According to IMPD, around 1:30 p.m. April 17, officers were called to the 2000 block of West Morris Street, near South Belmont Avenue, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a male with gunshot injuries behind a bus stop. Medics took him in critical condition to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
