Description
In 2015, Molly Kochan was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Following the diagnosis, Molly decided to leave her husband of 14 years and explore her sexual desires.
"Any chance that I get to talk about my best friend, Molly, is like a gift," said Nikki Boyer, co-creator of the award-winning Wondery podcast, "Dying for Sex" which has now been adapted into an eight-episode limited series from FX and Hulu.
Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Michelle Williams ("Blue Valentine," "Fosse/Verdon") and Jenny Slate ("Obvious Child," "It Ends with Us") portray the best friends.
"I don't think I was prepared for how deeply I was going to fall in love with both Jenny Slate and Michelle Williams as individuals and just fall in love with what they did together on camera," said Boyer, who is also an executive producer on the show. "I remember being on set and watching them the first day and thinking, 'Oh my God, this feels like us.'"
All eight episodes of FX's "Dying for Sex" are now streaming on Hulu.
