Description
An Indiana bill that critics say would criminalize homelessness is in trouble.
Senate Bill 197 originally dealt with unsafe buildings, and that's how it passed the Senate. But the House Judiciary Committee added language that would make it a crime to sleep on public property. That language came from a House bill, that failed to pass out of that same committee.
