In January 2007, Netflix debuted its streaming service. Eighteen years later, it is releasing its first English-language medical procedural series. "Pulse," follows a group of ER residents at Miami's busiest Level 1 Trauma Center as they navigate medical emergencies and personal drama and a divisive allegation. "I think that what makes this show in particular unique and special is the the central mystery surrounding what's happened between these two people, Danny Sims and Xander Phillips," said Willa Fitzgerald ("Reacher," "Scream"), who plays Sims. "Getting to see that told through flashbacks over the course of the first season allows the audience, I think, to have a really unique relationship with that central storyline."
