Description

Police say a car that fled from deputies in Henry County was involved in a crash on Indianapolis' east side Monday night, killing one person and injuring several others. The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. April 14 near the intersection of East Washington Street and North Mitthoefer Road. According to an Indiana State Police spokesperson, the vehicle, a Dodge SUV, fled from Henry County Sheriff's Office deputies investigating an alleged traffic violation on State Road 3 near Indiana Avenue in New Castle.
