Their bright white — and sometimes stinky — blooms are currently popping up across central Indiana, and one county is working to get rid of them.
Conservationists are again speaking out against Bradford pear trees, saying the popular tree can cause major problems for homeowners.
"I decided right then, 'Well, I'm tired of fighting with the tree,'" Fishers resident Todd Gee said. "It's time to take it down."
