Description
The Purdue University Board of Trustees approved freezing tuition for a 14th time.
That will keep tuition at current levels through the 2026-27 academic year.
Base undergraduate tuition at Purdue will remain at $9,992 per year for Indiana residents and $28,794 for out-of-state students.
"Just because it's easier to increase the 38% slice doesn't mean it's the right way to do it. Frankly, we can charge whatever number we like. And what can they do? They would have to pay up. They would have to borrow money and pay up, perhaps. Our response is, Why not grow the other 62%? There's an easy way to do it, a lazy way to do it, and there's a better way, a Boilermaker way to do it," President Mung Chiang said.
