A man has died following a shooting on Indy's near east side Thursday evening. According to a release from IMPD, just before 7:30 p.m. on April 3, officers responded to the 2100 block of East Washington Street, near Willard Park, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
