Strong winds, storms and eventual snow chances over the weekend could prevent progress on an issue impacting a lot of motorists: potholes.
The Indianapolis Department of Public Works took advantage of favorable weather this week, filling almost 22,000 potholes across the city.
DPW says, however, there are still thousands of repair requests to get to.
"It's terrible. People are bottoming out their cars. I probably spend a thousand dollars on tires, not only from this neighborhood but other potholes," resident Debbie Grush said.
