Description
An Indianapolis man is charged with the 2024 murder of a woman on the east side of the city.
Yolanda Shields, 38, was found dead in the 3300 block of North Shadeland Avenue, near 34th Street, on Aug. 4, 2024. Shields had been shot to death, and her body was left by a dumpster.
New court documents detail how police used witness testimony and surveillance video to find a suspect.
