Officers responded to a report of a person shot at Serenity Manor at Indianapolis, located in the 1100 block of North Edmondson Avenue, near Shadeland Avenue and 10th Street, around 11:30 a.m. March 9. Serenity Manor at Indianapolis' website calls it an independent senior living community for people 55 and older.
