Description

A historic 100-year-old bridge on the west side of Indianapolis is no more. Earlier this year, officials with the Indianapolis Department of Public Works determined the bridge was "severely deteriorated" and needed demolished. The original plan, which started in April 2024, would have fixed the bridge over the course of a few months. However, now crews are facing a much larger task.
