IMPD officers are investigating a mass overdose in downtown Indianapolis Friday afternoon. Emergency crews shut down sections of Washington and Alabama streets in the late afternoon of March 7. Those streets were back open as of 4 p.m. A large number of emergency vehicles, including police, fire and ambulance services, were seen in the area near the Julia M. Carson Transit Center and the City-County Building.
