An infant was not seriously injured after the vehicle in which it was riding crashed at the end of a pursuit Friday night. According to an IMPD spokesperson, an IMPD officer was getting gas in the area of West 86th Street and Ditch Road when he saw an adult male whom he recognized to be wanted for possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon get into the driver's seat of a vehicle. The officer attempted to pull the driver over, but he refused and a pursuit began.
