Police are conducting a double homicide investigation after two men were found dead following a shooting in Brownsburg Wednesday morning. Around 2:30 a.m. March 5, Brownsburg Police Department officers reported hearing gunshots near their location in the 300 block of Acre Avenue, near East Main Street and South Green Street. Just moments later, police found two men dead. BPD says a person of interest has been detained and police don't believe there is any ongoing threat to the community, noting that the three people involved knew one another.
