Description
Six people, including two children, were displaced and eight puppies and their mother were rescued from a house fire on Indianapolis' near northeast side Monday morning.
The fire was reported shortly before 10 a.m. March 3 in the 2200 block of Sheldon Street, near 22nd Street and Dr. Andrew J Brown Avenue.
Responding crews found heavy fire and smoke coming from the home and were told by occupants that the puppies and their mother were in the basement.
