IMPD is investigating after a man was found shot and killed on Indy's near west side early Thursday. Around 3 a.m. Feb. 27, officers responded to a report of a person down in the 1100 block of North Somerset Avenue, near 10th Street and North Tibbs Avenue. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead just moments later when medics arrived.
