Description
Prepare to feast your eyes on dozens of fascinating animal species and immaculate landscapes from across the continent.
"I think you're never going to have seen anything of this scale before," Emmy-winning producer Mike Gunton ("Planet Earth II," "Life") said of NBC's new 10-part docuseries, "The Americas." "It's kind of like the ultimate safari, if you had unlimited money and time to be able to cover this extraordinary place right up from Canada all the way down to basically the bottom of the Earth to Patagonia, dropping in on all the greatest hotspots of life, environment and landscapes in the whole of the Americas."
And it's all narrated by one of the most popular actors of our generation: two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks ("Forrest Gump," "Philadelphia").
"The Americas" premieres with two episodes Sunday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by one episode each Sunday at 8 p.m. ET through April 20.
