Under the glow of twinkling lights, community leaders and educators gathered Friday for a critical conversation about the future of education.
"We're losing them," said Malachi Walker, founder of Young Men Inc. "Enough is enough."
The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA) brought together community leaders, educators and city officials to advocate for Black and minority education. The breakfast-dinner event highlighted the need to promote educational opportunities for marginalized youth.
