IMPD is investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Indianapolis Tuesday morning. The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Feb. 18 near the intersection of West Michigan and North Illinois streets. Responding officers located a woman in the road with traumatic injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene, an IMPD spokesperson said in a statement.
