Description

Both directions of Meridian Street were closed on Indianapolis' near south side Wednesday morning due to a house fire. The fire was reported around 5:45 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 2100 block of South Meridian Street, just north of East Raymond Street. Crews worked for more than 30 minutes to bring the fire on the second story of a vacant home under control, fire officials told 13News, adding that there was a previous fire at the home last year.
