Two people, including a juvenile girl, are being treated for injuries after a shooting Monday night on the far east side of Indianapolis. It happened around 9:45 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 9900 block of East 38th Street, which is just west of Mitthoefer Road. An IMPD spokesperson said officers investigating a report of a shooting found two people, a man and a girl, who had apparently been shot. They were said to be awake and breathing when they were taken to Indianapolis hospitals. Police described their conditions as "stable."
