Description
The ongoing debate surrounding immigration in Indiana continued Monday.
Lawmakers in the House considered House Bill 1531, another bill dealing with the role of local law enforcement and employers when it comes to the issue of undocumented immigrants.
One provision that's no longer in the bill would have required schools to report their numbers of undocumented students and those students' immigration status.
