An Indianapolis Fire Department firefighter is lucky to be alive after going into cardiac arrest Saturday. According to a release from IFD, around 10 a.m. on Feb. 15, eight off-duty IFD firefighters were practicing basketball in preparation for the upcoming Hoops and Heroes Charity Basketball game between IFD and IMPD on April 26.
