A powerful storm is bringing heavy rain to Indiana tonight, but as colder air surges in, expect a burst of snow after midnight and through the early morning hours Sunday. A few inches of snow will be possible across the state, especially north and east of Indianapolis. This will not be a huge winter storm for us, but it could be impactful as we start our Sunday mornings heading to breakfast, worship services, or errands. There will not be a good opportunity for pretreatment on the roads because of all the rain first. That will wash any salt and brine off the roads. Expect a cold and windy Sunday.
