Description
Investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire Tuesday morning on Indianapolis' north side that sent a man to the hospital in critical condition.
The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 3800 block of Byram Avenue, near 38th Street and one block east of the main entrance to Crown Hill Cemetery in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood.
Fire officials said they found a man who was critically injured during their primary search of the home. That victim was taken to the hospital shortly after. Neighbors told 13News they saw the man got brought out on a stretcher and put into an ambulance.
