The 500 Festival kicked off its Miler Series on Saturday morning in downtown Indianapolis with the 3-Miler race. The series is meant to prepare those running, walking or wheeling in the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon on May 3. "This is the first run within a series of three. So, we have the six-miler coming up next month and the 10-miler after that and then it will all culminate with the Indy Mini on May 3,” said Lindsay Labas with the 500 Festival.
