More than 100 people gathered at the Indiana Statehouse on Saturday to rally against Governor Mike Braun's executive order mandating law enforcement in Indiana cooperate with ICE agents. Braun signed the executive order late last month after President Donald Trump signed a federal executive order strongly encouraging state and local governments to deputize police to enforce immigration laws. There is also a bill at the Indiana Statehouse that would require all Indiana sheriffs to cooperate with ICE to remove undocumented immigrants facing criminal charges.
