An Indianapolis man was arrested by Indiana State Police Wednesday in connection with a double shooting along Interstate 70 in January. The man faces preliminary charges of criminal recklessness and attempted murder, ISP said. Formal charges had not been filed as of midday Thursday, Feb. 6. The shooting happened early Jan. 2, 2025. Around 2:45 a.m., ISP detectives were informed of two gunshot victims at Indianapolis-area hospitals, who were allegedly shot inside the same car on I-70 near Emerson Avenue. Hospital staff told police a victim drove to the hospital and carried an unresponsive female into the emergency room.
