Description

A 28-year-old man was arrested for a deadly Christmas Day shooting on Indy's northeast side. IMPD East District officers responded to the 4400 block of North Kitley Avenue, near East 46th Street and North Arlington Avenue, on the report of a person shot just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Dec. 25, 2024. When officers arrived, they found 44-year-old Cedric Crews shot inside the home. Medics took Crews to Methodist Hospital in critical condition, but he died from his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. The Marion County Coroner’s Office determined Crews' manner of death to be homicide.
