Description
Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating after two anglers fell through the ice on a lake in southern Indiana Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, first responders were called to Elk Creek Lake in Washington County around 4 p.m. Jan. 29.
Officers said a 76-year-old man from Crothersville was approximately 100 feet from the shore when he fell through the ice. A 67-year-old man from Georgetown heard the other man calling for help and tried to rescue him, but he also fell through the ice.
