A flurry of tariffs between the U.S. and its three biggest trading partners is raising questions, including how this will impact Indiana. President Donald Trump announced tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico. The tariffs on Mexico have been paused for a month, but Canada has announced its own tariffs on goods from the U.S.
Starting Feb. 4, 2025, Canada has put in place tariffs on some key exports from Indiana including eggs and beans. That could cause trouble for Hoosier farmers.
