Description
The Indiana Fever have waived former IU basketball star Grace Berger and forward Victaria Saxton in the latest in a series of roster moves made an an effort to beef up their chances of a WNBA championship with last year's No. 1 overall draft pick Caitlin Clark.
Berger was Indiana's seventh overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, a pick made after the team selected forward Aliyah Boston with the No. 1 overall selection.
Boston is now part of the team's core, next to recently re-signed guard Kelsey Mitchell and, of course, Clark. Berger; however, never really got a chance to become a regular part of the Fever's rotation.
