Description
An Indianapolis mother and her boyfriend are facing charges for their alleged roles in the death of a 2-year-old girl on the city's northeast side.
The Marion County Prosecutor's Office filed the following formal charges against 33-year-old Chantell Gardner:
- Murder
- Neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury
Brian Thomas, 39, who the Marion County Prosecutor's Office identified as Chantell's boyfriend, is also facing a charge of assisting a criminal. There is a warrant out for his arrest.
