Description
Indiana is running out of money for roads. State lawmakers are trying to help the state avoid a "fiscal cliff" when it comes to road funding by giving counties and communities ways of raising the money themselves.
House Bill 1461 is in the Roads and Transportation committee of the House right now. The massive bill provides communities with new ways of funding road infrastructure projects, while trying to shore up the state's finances as well.
