Police are investigating after one person was killed in an overnight shooting on Indianapolis' north side. The incident was reported around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 in the 1600 block of East 49th Street, just northwest of East 46th Street and North Keystone Avenue. An IMPD spokesperson said officers responding to a report of a person shot located a victim next to a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway. The victim was listed in critical condition and taken to a local hospital, where they later died.
