Description
Residents in Noblesville's Wellington Northeast neighborhood say they are angry and frustrated over an ongoing project by Duke Energy.
"Sadness, disappointment," City Councilman Dave Johnson said. "Certainly, some of it not suitable for television."
"Anger," resident Thomas Rumler said. "A lot of anger. Tears."
Duke Energy is clearing land on the city's south side to maintain and improve a major power line.
In a statement, the company confirmed "the line serves multiple substations and approximately 22,000 customers, including homes, health care facilities, businesses and schools."
