IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting on Indy's east side. According to a release from IMPD, around 4:48 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, officers were called to the intersection of East 38th Street and North German Church Road on a report of a disturbance between vehicles. When officers were on their way to the scene, they learned that a crash had occurred between the vehicles involved in the disturbance. Once police arrived, they found a victim who had been shot. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
