At St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis Monday, the community came together to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has been a beacon of light in my life guiding me as I strive to uplift, as I strive to build bridges in the spirit of love and injustice," Pastor Adrienne Overton said. Overton received the Drum Major for Justice Award. "As I reflect on this honor, I am reminded of the words of Dr. King: 'Everybody can be great because everybody can serve,'" Overton said.
