Description
We have guidelines from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Tuft University on the thresholds of cold weather various breeds of dogs can handle. These rules of thumb are generally based for medium to long durations of time outside in the cold.
Dry vs. wet/snowy weather can also make an impact, plus the age and health of a particular dog. If you do not have adequate, warm, dry, wind-blocked shelter for your pet, you need to bring it in during these cold air outbreaks.
