Description
A North Carolina girl is making a difference across the country, including right here in Indianapolis.
Competitive cheerleading has taken Mackenzie Crowley all over from her home in Raleigh. This year, she decided she wanted to do something to not only help her community, but other communities she visits.
"We wanted to start a community service at my gym where I cheer, and we thought it'd be a good idea to bring it to the cities, instead of just having it in our city," Crowley said.
Thus came the idea for toiletry bags.
Friday morning, Crowley brought the bags to IMPD's Homeless Unit in order for police officers to hand out.
