Description
On Jan. 17, 2025, IMPD released edited body camera video of a police shooting that happened in September 2023 on the near south side of Indianapolis.
Brandon Ramirez was shot by police after allegedly stabbing a police K-9 named Ringo.
Body camera video shows IMPD officers enter a business around 8:25 p.m., Sept. 1, 2023, in the 100 block of Raymond Street, near Madison Avenue. The windows and doors at the front of the business were shattered. Police ordered Ramirez to leave the building, but he refused.
