Description
Helping Veterans and Families (HVAF) of Indiana provided an update Friday on the fire that burned at the Manchester Apartments in downtown Indianapolis in October.
According to HVAF, all 48 veterans who were displaced by the fire have now transitioned out of hotel accommodations and into transitional or permanent housing.
Last week, the last nine veterans who were staying in hotels were moved to a new property on the near west side of Indianapolis, where HVAF has finalized a master lease on 28 fully renovated one-bedroom apartments.
