IMPD is investigating after a man was found dead with traumatic injuries inside an apartment on Indianapolis' north side Wednesday night. A department spokesperson said officers were called to the 1700 block of East 38th Street, just east of East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive and the Indiana State Fairgrounds, around 11:30 p.m. Jan. 15 on a report of a burglary. The officers didn't find any signs of forced entry, but when they entered the apartment, they found a man dead on the floor with signs of trauma, Capt. Don Weilhammer said.
