Description
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Indianapolis man accused of being involved in two hit-and-runs, including one that killed someone, happening minutes apart.
IMPD officers responded to the 8900 block of East 16th Street, near North Post Road and East 16th Place on the city's east side, on a report of a personal injury hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 8:18 p.m.
Police said Jeremy Davis was driving his motorcycle on East 16th Street when he was hit by a van. After the crash, court documents say the van didn't stop and drove away without the driver providing information or help.
According to court documents, Davis was unconscious and suffered a "serious head injury," so he was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
