Bestway Sandwiches Inc. is recalling thousands of pounds of frozen chicken and cheese taquitos that may contain metal pieces after receiving consumer complaints, including one report of a dental injury. The California-based company announced the recall of approximately 24,870 pounds of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service. The affected products were produced on the dates of July 3 and Sept. 25, 2024, and were sold in 31 states.
