Two women who had fallen into a Greenwood pond were rescued by a neighbor Friday afternoon. Greenwood firefighters were called to Winterwood Drive for a water rescue around 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10. Investigators believe a 50-year-old woman was trying to rescue her dog when she fell through an ice-covered pond. The woman's adult daughter tried to help, but also fell into the water.
