Description
Several showing of guns in a music video that was shot at an east side Indianapolis gas station are now serving sentences for their part in a shooting which happened there the same night last February.
The music video posted on YouTube helped police identify the suspects. The woman facing the most serious charge, 22-year-old Traniesah Fennell, pleaded guilty under a plea deal Thursday to unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
Fennell is seen in the music video, which was shot February 27, 2024, at the Phillips 66 Crystal Flash gas station at 34th Street and Shadeland Avenue. That same night, police say five people were caught on surveillance video firing guns as they left the store. A bystander sitting in a van was shot in the shoulder.
Fennell received a sentence of one year in prison, plus two years home detention and one year of probation.
