Description
Former President Jimmy Carter is now lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda. It opened to the public Tuesday evening, so that all Americans can pay their respects.
A couple from Hancock County paid their respects to the former president in Georgia a few days ago. Their love for history and respect for Carter's life compelled them to honor him in person.
Retired engineer Tony May is a presidential history buff.
Tony not only volunteers as a docent at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site in Indianapolis, but he also has turned part of his Fortville home into a "personal" presidential library.
